Development of RF driven negative ion beam source at HUST characterized using Impedans Langmuir Probe system
Fusion reactors like ITER promise to provide limitless, clean and affordable energy but demands an intense plasma heating to sustain the fusion reactions. Plasma particles are heated by injecting negative ion beams converted into neutral beams.
In this appnote, we highlight work on the HUST negative ion beam source, characterised by the Impedans Langmuir probe.
